Pedro Delgado was born on August 21 and grew up in Saint Gallen - Switzerland in an emigrant family of spanish-italian descent. After his apprenticeship as a commercial employee, he worked in the insurance industry and since 1996 has been working in the restaurant business as a temporary bartender.
However, the cinema classic "Cocktail" - with Tom Cruise changed his life completely. The art of show bartending (flair bartending) fascinated him so much that he gave up his insurance job from one day to the next to dedicate his professional life completely to the bar.
He set his focus on event gastronomy, acquired cocktail and spirits knowledge in connection with show elements himself and thus worked his way up as a simple bartender. Years of work as a manager of various bars followed.
In 2016 he opened his own cocktail bar "DON PEDRO" in St. Gallen. He describes his motivation as follows: "Find the job you love, ...and you never have to work again in your life".
